Museum to Celebrate 70th Anniversary

The Stark County Historical Society and McKinley Presidential Library & Museum will be celebrating its 70th Anniversary on Thursday, September 22 at 6 p.m. at the Museum. Join us for a reception on the second floor balcony followed by dinner in the Everhard Auditorium. A brief overview of the Museum’s history will be presented by Archivist Mark Holland.

The speaker for the event will be Allyson Bussey, President of Visit Canton. She will speak about the “Power of Tourism” in Stark County.

“ I am honored to be part of the 70th Anniversary Celebration for one of our iconic tourism treasures, the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum. This event is the perfect backdrop to share the story of how tourism can shape a community and create economic vitality for the region,” said Bussey.
