Massillon Museum to Offer Shadow Puppets Class

Children in grades five through eight are invited to attend Gary Spangler’s Shadow Puppets class at the Massillon Museum. The three-session class will meet on Tuesdays, August 2, 9, and 16, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Students will learn puppetry art by drawing, painting, and cutting to create their own puppets, then performing a puppet play.
The class fee—$45 ($40 per Museum member)—includes materials. Massillon Museum classes are open to the public. Pre-registration is required for this class by July 25. Students may register by phone, by mail, or in person using cash (exact change), checks, or credit cards. The Massillon Museum, as a Blue Star Museum, offers a 10% discount on classes for active military personnel and their families.
