Local Celebrities Unite to Raise Funds for the Palace

The Canton Palace Theatre announced the cast of the sixth season of “Dancing with Canton’s Stars” which will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 7:30pm at the Canton Palace Theatre.

Tickets to “Dancing with Canton’s Stars 6” will go on sale today, August 18, 2016 at 10am at the Canton Palace Theatre Box office, over the phone by calling (330) 454-8172 or online at www.cantonpalacetheatre.org.  Reserved tickets are $12 each; VIP Reception Tickets can be purchased separately, and are $40 each.  The VIP Reception will take place at the Joseph A Saxton Gallery at 6pm and includes light hors d’oeuvres and open bar.  All proceeds for this event go to the Canton Palace Theatre Association to assist in its operations and programming

The show will feature local stars – Lauren Bosworth, Laura of Pembroke; Jessie Cline, Shine Salon Spa; Chip Conde, Stark County Auditor Department; Matthew Fantone, WRQK Rock 106.9; Patty Gaston, Tam O’Shanter Golf Course; Daniel S. Greer, Canton Fire Department; Jean Madden, Esq., retired, lawyer; Alan Rodriguez, Julz by Alan Rodriguez; Sue Staley, Coon Restoration/The Historic Onesto Lofts; Scott N. Warner, Pvt. Heath Warner Memorial Foundation; and Fonda Williams, City of Canton.

The show will feature professional dancers – Coral Abel (DanceAbel Dance Studio); Tiffeny Brown (TLBMovmentz); Carl Damiani (Dance Works Studio); Claire Fischer (Independent dance instructor); Micki Fontes (Dance Works Studio);  Lou Gillombardo (DanceAble Dance Studio); Trudy Koehler (TLBMovmentz); Rob McNamara (Professional Ballroom Dance Studio), Joy Raub (Independent dance instructor);Katy Russell (Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio) and Tony Scheppler (La Danse Cleveland).

“We are thrilled to announce this fantastic show and its wonderful cast who have come together to celebrate the Palace Theatre and its importance to our community.  The cast will raise funds to assist with the general operations of the theatre and to help fund the diverse programming we offer,” said Georgia Paxos, executive director. “The couple that raises the most funds will win the coveted mirror ball trophy!”
