Art, Crafts & Plants Highlight Annual Fair at Quail Hollow Park

Quail Hollow Park will hold its annual Art, Craft, and Herb Fair, Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, May 7, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The fair is sponsored by the Quail Hollow Herbal Society and the Quail Hollow Volunteer Association. Various artists and crafters will be set up on all three floors of the historic Stewart Manor House.  Displays will also be stationed on the rolling, scenic lawn surrounding the house.

More than 150 varieties of culinary and decorative herbs and flowering plants, as well as art and handmade crafts will be for sale  Visitors will find many unique items for home and yard décor as well as a chance to take in the park’s picturesque picnic areas, formal herb gardens and hiking trails, which are adjacent to where the fair is being held.  The Hartville Lions Club will be selling sandwiches, snacks, soft drinks and other food items inside the Manor House.  They will also be selling beautiful hanging flower baskets. All proceeds from the go toward maintaining the formal herb garden, historic rock garden and historic buildings at the park.
